Verizon reports on a three-stage approach for businesses to test AI agents (crawl, walk, run), ensuring proper oversight and access limitations before granting independence.
The deal struck by Oracle and its billionaire chairman Larry Ellison would have provided Tencent with access to up to 100,000 AI chips located at Asia-based data centers over a five-year term.
OpenAI is expanding its push into AI-powered software development with plans to acquire startup Pierre Computer Company, Inc. Pierre is best known for its Code Storage platform and open-source tools that help developers navigate code repositories.
Meta has acquired Conductor, an AI coding startup that lets software engineers manage multiple coding agents simultaneously, sources familiar with the deal tell Axios exclusively. Why it matters: Meta is joining OpenAI and other AI giants in a race to own the tools developers use,
Learning a universal action representation from video requires modeling dynamics that are consistent across different executions of the same action yet invariant to changes in embodiment and appearance. Existing latent action models infer actions from visual transitions, but their representations often entangle the underlying action with irrelevant visual variations, limiting transfer across embodiments. We introduce DreamX, which repurposes a pretrained video diffusion model as a universal latent action learner. Our approach extracts compact latent actions from the video model's rich spatiotemporal features, compressing each latent video frame by $\boldsymbol{300\times}$ ($\boldsymbol{1{,}200 \rightarrow 4}$ tokens). In addition, by leveraging the video model's generative prior, these latent actions capture action-relevant dynamics disentangled from visual appearance. The resulting latent space serves as a shared action interface across embodiments (human and robot), environments, and action parameterizations. On LARY-Bench, DreamX achieves state-of-the-art performance among latent action models. Moreover, actions encoded in one setting remain effective in another: the latent…
Pika H3 Flex is a post-trained H3 model, designed to give professional creators the flexibility and speed to explore with precision. Optimized for greater control, it generates video with synchronized audio in six sampling steps and supports up to 12 reference inputs, with shot…
Large Language Models (LLMs) enable open-ended dialogue in interactive games, but their non-deterministic outputs make it difficult to preserve authorial control, factual consistency, and the intended sequence of information disclosure. These challenges are particularly…
LLM-based AI systems answer political questions for hundreds of millions of people. Current audits measure what they say to an average user, but their behavior is dynamic. I argue that their political behavior is a set of policies over whom to answer, what to say, and whether…
Spatial reasoning is essential for vision-language models (VLMs) to understand and act in the physical world. Reasoning in dynamic environments requires VLMs to perceive local state transitions caused by object motion and viewpoint changes and integrate them over long…
Looped language models repeatedly apply a weight-shared block to increase effective depth without increasing parameter count, but the resulting T sequential recurrent-block calls per generated token substantially increase decoding latency. To address the issue, we introduce…
