As companies edge closer to the May 2028 enforcement deadline for the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) law, AI's emerging cybersecurity risks are creating tension over what might constitute adequate compliance just six to seven months from now.
Microsoft Corp. CEO Satya Nadella said the company is reorganizing around AI agents, model choice, and cheaper computing for the "Super Intelligence" era, betting on custom chips, PCs running models locally, and agent-management tools, according to his annual letter. Nadella...
Founded in 2025 by Red Hat, IBM, Google Cloud, CoreWeave and NVIDIA, and now governed by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), llm-d plays a key role in the open foundation for enterprises deploying AI at scale in production.
OpenCode, an open-source AI coding agent, has disclosed that attackers breached an older system connected to OpenCode Console, affecting 1.4% of Console users.…
Ethereum has a new message board for AI Agents to collaborate on finding vulnerabilities caused by Glamsterdam. PHP vulnerable site says 'Steal My Bitcoin'... if you can.
Singing emotion recognition relies predominantly on deep learning models that achieve strong performance but offer limited insight into the vocal characteristics driving emotion, of- ten overlooking the singing voice as a distinct signal. We propose an interpretable singing emotion recognition framework using a compact set of singing-specific descriptors across prosody, spec- tral features, phonetics, and vocal technique. To decode model decisions and link predictions to measurable acoustic phenomena, we employ SHAP and apply GRAD-CAM to qualitatively assess the learned representations of vocal techniques. Evaluations show that singing-specific features reduce cross-singer variability, while vocal technique descriptors provide interpretable insights into singing expression. Furthermore, out-of-domain evaluation on VocalSet reveals interesting associations between emotional expression and ground-truth technical execution. The analysis highlights vibrato and pharyngeal techniques as salient cues of emotional delivery, with SHAP indicating that vibrato is context-dependent on articulation rate. These findings emphasize the value of domain-specific features for interpretable singing…
Flint is Recursive’s mixture-of-experts language model for coding agents, with 39.8 billion total parameters and approximately 2.5 billion active per token. It is designed to investigate codebases, fix bugs, implement features, and write tests.
Joint-embedding predictive architectures are unusually sensitive to how the input is masked: block masks work, scattered masks do not, and the explanations are empirical. We give a measurement account. A mask is a linear measurement, and in a compactly supported wavelet basis…
We propose a training recipe that treats charged-particle trajectory parameter regression on high-energy physics detector data as a sequence-modeling task. Kalman filters and linearized least-squares fits have been the classical standard approach for this task: they are optimal…
We study smoothed online prediction with bounded adversarial responses. This widely studied framework bridges i.i.d. sampling and adversarial covariate selection through a smoothness parameter $\textsf{C}_{\textsf{cov}}$, which bounds conditional covariate densities relative to…
We propose a self-supervised framework designed to enhance the capability of scene text detectors in identifying and recognizing text in scenarios where instances are shown at significant distances, typically small, blurred, and frequently missed by conventional models. Our…
