Super Micro-backed cloud computing firm Argentum AI is in talks to secure a $5 billion financing deal for AI chips with a major private credit firm, according to two people familiar with the matter.
WEX® (NYSE: WEX), a global leader in intelligent payment solutions, and Euclid AI, the leading provider of agentic AI solutions for asset-based trucking, today announced an agreement to bring AI agents to WEX over-the-road (OTR) customers.
While language models have become dramatically more capable, retrieval still largely relies on lexical matching or similarity in fixed embedding spaces. This creates a capability asymmetry: what the retriever fails to find, even the strongest generator cannot recover. We propose DecisionRAG, which brings the capabilities of pretrained language models to retrieval using decision models that jointly evaluate candidate branches in a single forward pass, without generating any tokens, and show that judging candidates in a shared context makes their relevance estimates comparable. Like a person browsing a library, DecisionRAG navigates the corpus's inherent structure from broad topics down to individual passages, deciding at each level which branches are worth exploring. Without task-specific training or a first-stage retriever, DecisionRAG outperforms dense retrieval with an 8B reranker by 13.8 R@1 points on MultiDoc2Dial and 17.4 Hit@1 points on Natural Questions. Across four benchmarks, including a corpus of 2.68 million Wikipedia paragraphs, retrieval takes just 0.7-1.8 seconds per query.
Flint is Recursive’s mixture-of-experts language model for coding agents, with 39.8 billion total parameters and approximately 2.5 billion active per token. It is designed to investigate codebases, fix bugs, implement features, and write tests.
A2UI now supports swappable inference formats, introducing A2UI Express which uses up to 3x fewer tokens and cuts latency by compiling compact Python-style syntax into standard A2UI JSON via Agent SDKs. Developers can also use controlled generation with TypeSafe's Jev…
Dynamic 3D Gaussian splats (3DGS) model time-varying scenes using a separate Gaussian set per frame. While neighboring video frames are highly correlated due to smooth motion, Gaussian representations retain this correlation to varying degrees, depending on whether the…
Long-running tools can dominate coding-agent latency: compilers, test suites, and repository commands take seconds to minutes while the agent idles. This observation stall presents the same tension that drove out-of-order processors -- asequential interface hides work that can…
General-purpose robot control requires models to understand task intent, identify where to interact, capture how the scene evolves, and generate precise actions. Vision-language-action models provide strong semantic priors but typically do not explicitly model scene dynamics,…
Large language model (LLM) outputs are expected to be reproducible under greedy decoding, yet in practice the same model, prompt, and software stack produce different outputs on different GPUs. The root cause is floating-point non-associativity combined with hardware-dependent…
