At its annual Zoomtopia customer conference, Zoom Communications, Inc., a leading AI-first platform for human connection, introduced a new Unified Context Layer and several new products with AI-powered capabilities.
Hotels have more technology options than ever, but choosing the right solutions remains a challenge. ExploreTECH co-founder Ralph Melis discusses how hotels evaluate vendors, what makes technology adoption difficult, and how the way hotels discover, buy, and manage technology is evolving.
Explore how large language models and named entity recognition help historians analyze massive document collections and uncover valuable historical insights.
Of the 10 stocks that hedge funds held the most in September, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) was the most popular, followed by Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT). Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), and Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) were also in the top 10.
Chinese AI startup Moonshot AI has reduced the offensive cyber capabilities of its latest artificial intelligence model, Kimi K3.1 Pro, amid growing concerns that increasingly autonomous AI systems could make sophisticated cyberattacks easier and cheaper to execute. The Beijing-based company announc
Block has unveiled Dessa, a pioneering speech-to-speech AI model trained exclusively on human conversations. It processes audio directly to express human emotions and nuances in real-time, marking a shift from traditional text-based AI systems.
OpenAI is back to training its most advanced AI models, but with a notable change: no live internet access. After AI agents found ways to bypass security controls, the company has built an offline world for them to learn and work in. Here’s how OpenAI is tightening its defences to keep AI agents in check.
Controllable 3D part generation is pivotal for digital asset creation, yet existing methods lack the flexibility to accommodate diverse user workflows requiring varying levels of control. In this paper, we introduce FlexPart, a unified image-to-3D part generation framework that supports variable-granularity geometric conditions within a single model. By seamlessly integrating heterogeneous inputs, ranging from sparse points to dense bounding boxes and masks, via gated adaptive modulation, FlexPart unlocks a powerful cross-modal synergy. We also propose an asymmetric geometric guidance mechanism that leverages strong spatial priors to align representations across granularities, improving geometric consistency and facilitating inter-task synergy. Under mask conditioning on PartVerseXL, FlexPart reduces Part CD by 16.6% relative to TripoSG + SAM3D and by 10.5% relative to OmniPart, while maintaining competitive whole-mesh quality. The code can be found at https://github.com/Gucci233/FlexPart
Flint is Recursive’s mixture-of-experts language model for coding agents, with 39.8 billion total parameters and approximately 2.5 billion active per token. It is designed to investigate codebases, fix bugs, implement features, and write tests.
Neural architecture search (NAS) on a new dataset often affords only tens of short training runs, so what the search knows before its first evaluation decides its efficiency. Yet most NAS methods start from scratch, guided at best by zero-cost proxies that are unreliable across…
A strong direct tree model may remain the best standalone photovoltaic forecaster, yet a weighted combination can reduce its residual errors. We examine whether complementary temporal predictors can lower the tree's mean absolute error (MAE) over 15--240 minutes without weaker…
